Situated close to the Hurtières artificial lake, the Saint-Pierre de Belleville rest area is a pleasant green area. Accessible in the direction France/Italy, it is remarkable for a landscaped garden called “canyon garden” which embellishes the space with gentle shapes and an array of green colours. From the end of the garden a path leads to a lookout point with a view over the Hurtières artificial lake.
The rest area has parking spaces for 30 light vehicles, 40 coaches and heavy goods vehicles and a caravan.
Accessible in the direction Italy/France, the Saint-Léger rest area on the banks of the Arc river offers its users a clear view of the Lauzière mountain range overlooking the village of Epierre.
The rest area has parking spaces for 23 light vehicles, 28 coaches and heavy goods vehicles and 4 caravans.
Close to Sainte-Marie-de-Cuines, two rest areas have been created on opposite sides of the motorway: the Sainte-Marie-de-Cuines rest area is accessible in the direction France/Italy, while the Saint-Avre rest area is accessed when travelling in the opposite direction. Situated at the foot of the Glandon and Madeleine mountain passes, these two rest areas are surrounded by small banks covered with pine bark and ground cover plants.
The Sainte-Marie-de-Cuines rest area has parking spaces for 40 light vehicles, 31 heavy goods vehicles and 2 caravans. The Saint-Avre rest area has parking spaces for 26 light vehicles, 34 heavy goods vehicles and 2 caravans.
The Saint-Julien-Montdenis, service station is situated at the foot of the Croix des Têtes mountain range, it offers a wide range of motorway services (petrol station, a catering outlet, showers for lorry drivers). It is accessed when travelling in the direction Italy/France.

A pedestrian bridge links this area to the Saint-Julien-Montdenis service station.
The Saint-Michel-de-Maurienne service station is situated close to the toll gate. Accessible in the direction France/Italy, this area with a view over the Télégraphe’s craggy cliffs, has a petrol station and a catering outlet.
